R . E . D

Cape - Sass and Bide | Hoodie - DimePiece LA | Jeans - Topshop 'Joni' |
Trainers - Nike Air Max 90 'Hyperfuse' | Earrings - Topshop | Lipstick - MAC Ruby Woo

Hi beauts! So I've had these Hyperfuse 'Independence Day' edition Air Max 90's
since early summer and I've  finally got round to blogging about them. Due to being
so comfortable and such a striking shade of red, I've been wearing these at least
twice a week since I got them. We're definitely feeling the chill here in London so for
this OOTD I chose to wear them with this DimePiece LA cropped hoodie (also
available in white), black skinnies and my wardrobe staple Sass and Bide cape
to upgrade this look from sporty to "urban-luxe".

How about you? Would you rock these Hyperfuse Air Max 90's?

Birthday OOTD

Blazer - Topshop | Blouse - Zara | Jeans - Topshop 'Joni' Jean | Heels - Walter Steiger
Lip colour - MAC 'Feel My Pulse'

Yesterday, October 2nd was my 23rd birthday!

Even though it is now officially Autumn, I chose to ditch my usual "all black" attire
(such a no fuss colour right!) and brighten up the rather gloomy British day with
some much needed colour. I chose to wear this new AW13 blazer I picked up
from Topshop (also comes in baby blue) along with a pair of blue skinnies, a
simple silk blouse and my absolute favourite heels. Walter Steiger's
'Tadpole' sandal.

Happy October people!

Specsavers x Metro Newspaper Photoshoot!

T Shirt - Urban Outfitters | Jeans - Topshop | Heels - Zara | Clutch bag - Stylist's Own

Hi there beautiful people! Last month, I was chosen to take part in Specsavers
collaboration with the Metro newspaper for their 'Eye On Fashion' photoshoot.
The outcome was 4 street style articles in the Metro newspaper's Life & Style
section. I was featured in the Metro last week on the 8th August as part of the
Brixton group. I've just received the high-res images today, therefore my post
about the feature is slightly delayed. The next trio of stylish Londoners will feature
in the Metro tomorrow on the 16th, so while on your daily travels tomorrow try to
pick up a copy of the Metro during the day :)

I've never considered wearing brightly coloured frames before but after taking
part in the project I now love bright coloured frames! They add the perfect pop
of colour to my monochrome outfit. To top of the amazing experience, all
participants left with a Specsavers voucher worth £150 to spend on a pair of
Specsavers specs of our choice!

Tropical Heights

Dress - American Apparel | Necklace - Portobello Road Market | Shoes - Aldo

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this outfit! I've been dying to wear this turquoise necklace for
so long now since I picked it up from Portobello Road in May. I'm forever impressed
with the unique pieces one can find on Portobello. I love how the colours of this
simple American Apparel tube dress and the necklace compliment each other so
powerfully. I chose to pair this simple summer look with these fun African print
platforms that I've been craving to wear again for a while.

Loose Fit

All clothing & shoes - Zara | Earrings - Topshop

It's finally summer here in London! The sun is finally shining and I thought it was the perfect
time to try out these boyfriend fit jeans I got from Zara a while back but hadn't got round to
wearing yet. These boyfriend fit jeans are my first pair of loose fitting jeans and I really like
them. This first time round I chose to pair them with simple monochrome sandals and a
brightly coloured "half-wrap", a head wrap style I've been rocking all summer. If you like
this "half-wrap" style featured in this post let me know in the comments box and I'll make
tutorial on it in the future.

London Collections: Men - OOTD ("Fashion Super-Hero")

Caped waistcoat - Sass & Bide | Shirt - Zara | Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Jeffrey Campbell

Almost forgot about this last picture. Polly, one of the lovely girls I had the
pleasure of working with on the day persuaded me after much hesitation to
stand on the other side of the camera. We only took one photo and it turned
out pretty good. The rest of the ROUGH team joked that I looked like a
"fashion super-hero" as they put it lol! I guess it's the cape which, side note:
is AMAZING and goes with EVERYTHING. Well, for me it does as I
spend most of my day-to-day life in black.

Men's Fashion Week (London Collections: Men)

I was granted the amazing opportunity on Monday to snap shots on behalf of
ROUGH Magazine of stylish men at Men's Fashion Week that took place between
Sunday 16th and Tuesday 18th. Below, I've grouped my favourite images and the
menswear trends they display. Hope you enjoy and if you attended let me know!

The Modern Dandies

The dapper 'modern gentlemen' look was a favourite for a generous proportion
of the stylish men I saw on Monday. Not much beats a tailored suit and a good
pair of quirky polished brogues. Many of the 'Modern Dandies' I saw had opted
for mix 'n' match blazer and trouser combinations to create interesting and original
versions of the classic formal suit. Tapered trousers were a definite favourite amongst
this group, which resulted in an array of colourful and patterned socks to peep through.

Nod to the Orient

First things first: I LOVE LOVE LOVE the over-sized structured sweater the young
man in the first image is wearing. Too cool! This Spring/Summer womenswear
trend seems to also have had a significant influence of menswear this season.

Bold and Metallic Colour

I'm sure I can confidently say that I'm not the only girl that really appreciates a man that
isn't afraid to play around with colour. Especially as it's now summer (well, that's currently
debatable in England...). The gentlemen in the clean cut ruby red rain coat caught
everyone's eye as he approached Victoria House. Tall, dark, exceedingly handsome
and not afraid to experiment with bold colour... what else can a girl want!

Kenzo Love

The Black Pack

The Eclectics

Very pleased to get to snap a couple shots of the lovely and super duper stylish Yu
MasuiThe best way I can describe the atmosphere as Yu approached Victoria
House was reminiscent of lions (all the photographers) getting ready to pounce
on their prey. It was tense! Mr Masui, as one could imagine, knew how to work
his magic in front of the camera like a pro.

Up and Away

Witnessed a lot of up-do hair styles on Monday. Love how each of the three guys
I've featured all have a unique take on "high hair" that effortlessly coordinates with
their personal sense of style.

Shoe Game

Whether they were in brogues, loafers, sandals, boots or trainers, the men at London Collections: Men
definitely brought their A-Game on Monday. Yu Masui's badass studded boots were my personal
favourite though there was so much shoe candy on Monday to drool over.

Walter Steiger Tadpole

New shoes bring me immense joy! I'm sure many if not all of us ladies can relate!

Walter Steiger has been one my favourite shoe designers for years now and it has
become obvious to me that he is highly underrated in comparison to his peers
Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo and Giuseppe Zanotti to name a few. I've had
my beady eyes on these beauties for a good while now and I'm delighted to finally
add them to my shoe collection. The beautiful ruched floral material used all over is exquisite.

Style post featuring Tadpole coming soon! (Hopefully in June as the weather in England
is still pretty depressing!) They appear to be sold out or back-order only everywhere online
so I'd suggest visiting/contacting your nearest boutique.
